01The Challenge
Complex B2B orders, each one with its own technical spec, arriving as files.
Canada Compressor Parts is a Quebec distributor of replacement parts for air compressors, sold under Rotamac Inc. The orders are B2B, frequent, and rarely simple. Each one carries technical specifications that belong to that buyer, and most of them arrive as Excel or PDF files that someone has to key into the system.
That is the ordinary industrial SME problem, and it is expensive in two directions at once. It eats time, and it produces the kind of error a wrong part number turns into a return.
- High weekly volume of complex B2B orders
- Unique technical specifications per client
- Orders arriving as Excel or PDF rather than through a portal
- Manual entry into the system of record, with the usual error rate that follows
02The Solution
Installed on the spot. Running the same week.
Joey Desrosiers, Business Development Manager at Rotamac Inc., the company behind the Canada Compressor Parts brand, met LevelOps on 23 October at the Salon Industriel de Terrebonne. He installed the app there. Québec Tech reported it was operational within two minutes, with no configuration project and no change to how buyers already sent orders.
PDF and Excel files are read, structured, validated and handed to Shopify. Joey has used it weekly since, on the full order load rather than on a pilot subset.
What I loved is that LevelOps adapted to how we work, without forcing us to change everything. I've tried other tools before, but never one that saved me this much time, this fast.Joey Desrosiers, Business Development Manager, Rotamac Inc., quoted by Québec Tech

03The Results
The numbers Québec Tech published a few weeks later.
Québec Tech wrote the public record of this engagement on 27 January 2026. The figures below are theirs, reported after a few weeks of weekly use, not a modelled year and not our instrumentation. We repeat them because a third party published them next to a named operator, which is a higher bar than a case study we wrote ourselves.
On some orders the time saving reached 100 percent, depending on complexity. The quote that matters more than the percentages is the one about not having to change how the team already worked.
