MRP for a home fermentation brand

Revolution Fermentation sells the products and the know how for making kombucha, kefir, yogurt, kimchi and tempeh at home.

The need

A catalogue that is half product, half kit

Revolution Fermentation sells durable, well designed equipment alongside the recipes and expert guidance that make it usable. A catalogue that mixes standalone products with assembled kits is an inventory problem: the same component lives in several sellable forms at once.

The project

MRP implementation

LevelOps delivered the MRP engagement, closing in March 2024.

Questions about the Revolution Fermentation engagement

What does this page cover?

What Revolution Fermentation needed, the scope of the engagement and the systems implemented, which were MRPeasy. It is an implementation record rather than a measured case study.

Why are there no numbers on the outcome?

Because we did not measure them. Publishing a gain we never instrumented would be inventing one, so the page records what was done and stops there.

Could you do the same for us?

Likely, if you are on comparable systems. Describe your situation through the contact page and say what you already run, and we will tell you whether MRPeasy is the right starting point.

How does this relate to the Shopify app?

Implementation work puts the management system in place. PDF to Order handles the step before it, getting orders that arrive as documents into the system. Some clients have both, many have only one.

Can we speak to Revolution Fermentation?

Ask through the contact page. We check with the client before passing on any contact, so it depends on what they agree to.

Planning the same kind of project?

Tell us what you run today and what is breaking. We will tell you whether the system you are considering is the right one, before anyone signs anything.
