An operations audit under Programme Essor

A structured review of how the operation runs, delivered as an Essor 1B mandate.

The need

Know what is actually happening before changing it

An operations audit exists to answer one question honestly: where does the time and the margin actually go. Programme Essor funds that diagnostic work for Quebec manufacturers, which makes it a low risk way to find out before committing to a system.

Questions about the Univerco 1978 engagement

What does this page cover?

What Univerco 1978 needed, the scope of the engagement and the systems involved. It is an implementation record rather than a measured case study.

Why are there no numbers on the outcome?

Because we did not measure them. Publishing a gain we never instrumented would be inventing one, so the page records what was done and stops there.

Could you do the same for us?

Likely. Describe your situation through the contact page and say what you already run, and we will tell you whether it is a job we should take on.

How does this relate to the Shopify app?

Implementation work puts the management system in place. PDF to Order handles the step before it, getting orders that arrive as documents into the system. Some clients have both, many have only one.

Can we speak to Univerco 1978?

Ask through the contact page. We check with the client before passing on any contact, so it depends on what they agree to.

Planning the same kind of project?

Tell us what you run today and what is breaking. We will tell you whether the system you are considering is the right one, before anyone signs anything.
